Quad Monitor Arms — Four-Screen Setups for Maximum Productivity

A quad monitor arm mounts four screens on a single pole, creating a high-performance multi-display workstation that would otherwise require four bulky stands and a desk the size of a boardroom table. With a quad arm, all four screens are precisely positioned, independently adjustable, and held securely — giving you maximum visual workspace in minimum desk footprint.

At Singularity India, we stock quad monitor arm solutions from the LUMI® brand in both clamp-mount and freestanding configurations, built for professional environments where four screens are a daily operational requirement.

Who Uses a Quad Monitor Arm?

Four-screen setups are the domain of professionals who genuinely need to see a lot of information at once — and can't afford to miss any of it.

High-Frequency Traders & Stock Brokers — Live price feeds, order terminals, charts, and news — four screens means everything critical is always visible, no switching, no delays, no missed moves. A quad arm is standard equipment on serious trading desks.

Surveillance & Security Operations — CCTV feeds, access control systems, incident logs, and communication platforms running simultaneously. Four screens give security operators complete situational awareness at all times.

Command & Control Centers — Defense, utility, and infrastructure control rooms where operators monitor multiple systems, dashboards, and communication channels in parallel.

Data Analysts & Quantitative Researchers — Large datasets, multiple dashboards, statistical tools, and reference documents all open and visible without constant window switching.

Broadcast & Media Production — Live feeds, editing timelines, asset libraries, and output previews across four screens for production environments that run on tight schedules.

IT Administrators & Network Engineers — Multiple server consoles, monitoring dashboards, ticketing systems, and communication tools running side by side.

Clamp Mount vs Freestanding — Which Is Better for a Quad Setup?

Both configurations are available and each has its place:

Clamp Mount (LDT12-C048N) attaches to your desk edge via C-clamp or through a grommet hole. It's the most stable option for a permanent quad setup and takes up zero desk footprint beyond the pole. Best for dedicated workstations where the setup won't change.

Freestanding (LDT12-T048N) uses a weighted base that sits on the desk — no clamping or drilling required. Ideal for glass desks, shared workstations, raised floors, or environments where desk modification isn't possible. Also easier to relocate if your setup changes.

Key Specs to Check Before Buying

  • Screen size — Supports 13"–32" per screen

  • Weight capacity — Up to 8kg per screen

  • Pole height — Approximately 880–905mm, supporting a 2×2 or 1×4 horizontal arrangement

  • Desk width required — A four-screen horizontal spread needs a desk of at least 1.5–1.8 metres

  • Desk thickness (clamp) — 10–88mm clamp range; 10–75mm grommet range

  • VESA compatibility — Standard 75×75 and 100×100 VESA patterns

  • Screen rotation — Full 360° rotation per screen; portrait or landscape on any arm

Quad Monitor Layout Options

There's no single right way to arrange four screens — it depends entirely on your workflow:

1×4 Horizontal — All four screens side by side in a single row. Maximum width, great for panoramic data monitoring and surveillance feeds. Requires a wide desk.

2×2 Grid — Two screens on top, two on the bottom. Compact footprint, excellent for traders and analysts who want equal access to all four screens without turning their head. The most popular quad configuration.

3+1 — Three screens at eye level, one screen raised above the centre. Primary workflow on the three main screens, secondary information or alerts on the elevated screen.

The quad arm's pole height and independent arm articulation let you experiment with all of these arrangements and adjust until the layout suits your workflow perfectly.

A Note on Desk Suitability

Quad setups are heavy. Four monitors plus the arm itself can put significant load on a desk clamp. We recommend desks with a solid wood, MDF, or steel top at least 25mm thick for clamp installations. If your desk is glass, thin, or hollow-core, the freestanding model is the safer choice. If you're unsure, call us — we're happy to advise before you order.
